The initial meeting is free of charge, and without obligation.

Once we receive the go-ahead, we carry out a garden survey, take a detailed client brief and make initial contact with any architects and interior designers who may be involved. We usually produce alternative sketch schemes. We like to involve clients in the design process, and generally find producing alternatives opens up more fruitful discussion.

The agreed scheme is then developed into hard landscaping plans, which also show lighting layouts. Detailed plant illustration sheets show and describe exactly what plants will be used; and further illustrative sheets show features such as ponds, trellis and paving details. Detailed costing is provided at this stage. The clients will now have a very clear idea of what their garden will look like and how much it will cost.

On all but the smallest jobs, we get competitive tenders from good quality landscape contractors. We monitor work on site on a regular basis, answering queries and resolving any problems that may arise; and then put our own planting team in to complete the garden.

Although we do not undertake seasonal or weekly maintenence, we are usually able to arrange this for our clients, if required.
