“I have had a passion for plants, since a small child, playing in the glasshouses and growing beds of my grandparents' market garden.

I initially trained as an architect, and this taught me the importance of having strong bold structure and how an underlying sense of proportion could create a sense of calm and tranquillity in a garden.

Re-training as a garden designer, I was able to combine my two passions - planting and architecture. I love contrasting exuberant planting with strong structure, to create elegant and timeless gardens for people who lead busy lives.”
